Upgrades You Should Consider for Your Swimming Pool

Do you have a swimming pool? Thinking of ways you can make it better for next pool season? With more than 10.4 million residential pools in the U.S., according to the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, many people are thinking the same thing. The good news is there are many ways you can upgrade your pool to make it more enjoyable and to save you time and money. Below are a few upgrades you should consider for your pool.

LED Lights

If you use your pool at night, LED lights are a must-have. They’re functional because they provide added visibility to the pool, but they can also be fun and festive. You can change your LED colors for any occasion. Red, white, and blue can be great for Independence Day, while orange may be better for Halloween. Even better, LED lights are fairly affordable.

Automatic Leveler

Wouldn’t it be nice to never check the level of your pool water again? The water level is critical to the temperature and cleanliness of your pool. However, as you probably know, maintaining a consistent level is a challenge. A pool leveler is an affordable device that sits on the side of your pool and connects to a hose. When the water drops, the leveler automatically adds water. It’s an easy and efficient way to keep the water level consistent.

Outdoor Daybed

Technically, this isn’t for the swimming pool, but it does go poolside. You probably have plenty of chairs, tables, and other furniture around the pool. But what about a day bed? A pool daybed is like an oversized couch that has a retractable cover. When you need a break from the water and sun but want to stay outside, you can simply lay on the daybed and pull the canopy to provide some shade. It’s a relaxing and fun upgrade for you and your guests.

Fire Pits

Sometimes it’s cold when you get out of the pool. Wouldn’t it be nice to get out of a cold pool and immediately sit by a fire? You can do that with a poolside fire pit. In fact, if you have a gas water heater in your pool, you can hook a gas-powered fire pit directly into the same line. That way you get the warmth of the fire without the campfire smell. A firepit can give you the best of both worlds! A refreshing pool and warm place to dry off.

As you can see, there are many upgrades to consider for your swimming pool. Contact us today at Blockco to discuss upgrades you can make to your pool for next season.
